1. The Signature Waterfall Braid

1. Start with a French braid over your right ear.
2. Get the waterfall portion by pulling the left strand into the center.
3. Then, take hair from the top and put it into the middle portion.
4. After that, take the strand on the right and drop it down.
5. Pick up the portion of hair that is directly behind the strand that you dropped down.
6. Place this section into the center part of the braid and following this method, work towards the left side of one’s head.
7. Once you get on to the left side, drop the strand of hair on the right as usual.
8. Now, wrap the left strand over the middle portion.
9. Place a bobby pin over that strand and put it in place.
10. Use the loose hair to hide that bobby pin.

2. The Retro Bouffant

1. Start by clipping the top half of your hair.
2. Once the top half is clipped up, tie the bottom half in a low ponytail style around the nape of your neck.
3. Make a small hole at the base of your ponytail and push the ponytail down through that hole, creating an inside-out ponytail look.
4. Back-comb that ponytail.
5. Once that ponytail has been teased out rightly, use your fingers to roll the ends of the hair in an upward direction, making a chignon.
6. Hold the chignon with bobby pins.
7. Drop down the top half of your hair and make a deep side part.
8. Back-comb the top half of your hair to add some extra volume.
9. Hold all of the hair from the top half loosely back and twist it one time, pushing it an upward direction and towards your scalp to add more volume. Fix it with a few bobby pins so that it rests right on top of the chignon.
10. Continue to loosely twist the hair from the ends, wrapping the ends around the side of the chignon and fixing them with bobby pins underneath.
11. Gently loosen some small hair flicks around your face to soften the front.

3. The Low Braided Bun

1. Disparate a small section from the front of the hairline and then start making a small Dutch braid right behind it.
2. When the braid reaches the top of the ear, continue downwards in a regular braid and wrap an elastic band over the end.
3. Tie all the hair into a low ponytail style at the nape of the neck.
4. Hold small sections of the ponytail and wrap the pieces back into the band to make a chic bun.
5. Complete the look by tucking the front strands that were left out over the braid and put them in place. Soften down any flyaways with a light misting of hairspray.

4. The Twisted Headband Bun

  1. Wear an elastic headband on your hand and place the side flicks of your hair inside it in a twisted fashion.
  2. Now roll ack portion of your hair and place them inside the elastic and making a fluffed bun sort of a thing.
  3. Next, adjust your hair from sides in a way that the headband is covered properly and you’re done.

5. The Fishtail Braid

1. Tie hair into a ponytail. If this is your first time trying a fishtail, start by fixing your hair with a disposable clear elastic band or a hair bungee.

2. Divide the ponytail into two smaller, equal-sized sections.

3. Disparate a half-inch portion of hair from the outside of the left ponytail.

4. Hold this piece across the top of the left ponytail over to the right ponytail.

5. Then, separate a half-inch portion of hair from the outside of the right ponytail.

6. Place this portion across the top of the right ponytail over to the left ponytail.

7. Continue steps 3-6 until you run out of hair.

8. When you’re finished braiding, fix the ends with a second elastic.

9. If you used an elastic to wrap at the nape of the neck, cut it out. If you used a hair bungee, simply remove. Be sure to adjust the hair so that there are no creases.

6. Low Woven Ponytail

1. At the nape of the neck, take a small section of hair from the right side and wrap it around the rest of the hair to make a low ponytail.
2. Wrap an elastic band around that entire ponytail.
3. Then, divide that pony into two sections and hold the strands in opposite directions so the elastic band slides up to the top.
4. Ensure that the strand that was wrapped around the ponytail lays over the elastic band to cover it.
5. Complete the look by softening down any flyaways with hairspray.

7. The Faux Bob Hair-do

  1. Rive your hair into two sections by parting your hair horizontally from ear to ear.
  2. Use a duck bill clip to fix the hair above the part.
  3. Divide the bottom layer of your hair into two inch sections.
  4. Fold or roll each two inch section up towards your scalp area. Put the section in place with two to three bobby pins.
  5. Untie the top layer of hair.
  6. If your hair is layered, leave the short layers unpinned and allow them to cover the bottom layer.
  7. If your hair is all one length or has longer layers, roll the ends under the bottom section and pin them properly to your scalp.
  8. Mist your faux bob look with hairsprays and hairfixers.

8. The Side-Swept Waterfall Braid

1.Hold a section of hair at the front of the head; a kind of triangle shape with your part.

2. Cross the left strand over the middle, then the right strand, then place the strand in your left hand.

3.  Hold a section of hair right behind the strand you dropped.

4. Cross the strand you picked up over the middle strand.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 of the waterfall braid pulling in hair from across the back of the head to bring them into the braid.

6. When all the hair from the right side of the head is pulled in complete the look with a regular braid.

7. Tie the braid underneath the hair and pin it in place.

8. Soften down flyaways and curl the ends of your hair for the finished smooth, side-swept look.
