Fashion Alert: Fringes are back to ‘Jazz Up’ your wedding wear!

If someone would ask me which is my favourite era when it comes to women fashion,  I’d say the ‘Roaring Twenties‘ from the bygone century. With the comfortable and loose garments exuding that iconic oomph of glamour and sparkle, the 1920s was indeed a decade of fashion-oriented styling. Known for the famous flapper look, low waisted sequined dresses, chic bobs and pearls, the era was majorly influenced by Jazz music with people grooving to its laid-back ecstatic tunes.

And, reviving the same vintage-vibes of the 20s, Indian wedding wear designing mogul, Sabyasachi Mukherjee has added fringes and tinsels to his latest evening wear collection. So, if you are also looking for a new element to make your next wedding attire look unique, fringes and bejewelled dresses are something you can go for without a second thought. Not only would the fringes add a glittery sway to your dress but will also give your over-all look a glamorous touch!

The best thing about beaded fringes is, they can be added anywhere in a wedding outfit. You can have beaded fringes attached to the bottom your lehenga’s crop top.

And, TBH! The moment I saw two black evening party dresses (shown below) from Sabyasachi’s Summer Couture 2018, it was those tiny golden beaded fringes at the bottom of this embroidered cape that made me fall in love with both the looks!

Don’t you think the beaded golden fringes have elevated the overall grace of this Sabyasachi creation?

As a second beguiling addition to the vogue of summer evening parties, this golden crop top with jewelled fringing induces style, elegance and beauty with a modernist poise which seems just the perfect choice to be worn as a wedding wear! Nude makeup and a sleek hairdo would be the right way to balance out the sparkle emanating from this heavily-embroidered set of godet skirt and the golden tinsel crop top!

Brides or not, fringes are such great additive to any wardrobe styling that you can also get them attached to a half-sleeve wedding dress or kurti or a blouse of your saree or lehenga! For instance, we can’t stop admiring how this bride has elegantly pulled off her reception look with a fringe-sleeved golden sequin bridal gown!
